New particle assays for infectious disease diagnostics.
Rapid testing, high quality and low costs are significant criteria for modern diagnostics. Therefore, established standard methods for infection serology are ELISA, IFA, Western Blot and Complement Fixation Tests. We would like to introduce you to a new product line for simultaneous analysis of several Ig classes.
SERION Multianalyt® is based on the principle of flow cytometry and independent of specific models of equipment. For simultaneous analysis of different antibody specificities in one single sample, particles coated with different antigens are combined in our kits. We offer the following multiplex kits for analysis of single or multiple serological parameters.
With the new SERION Multianalyt® Bordetella pertussis, combined IgG+IgA analysis is possible. In comparison to single analysis, it is time-saving for the customer. For Epstein-Barr-Virus serology we offer an IgM kit (VCA) and a combination kit for simultaneous detection of three IgG-specificities (VCA (p18), VCA (p23), EBNA (p72)). Furthermore, virionserion presents a new kit for the detection of Lyme Borreliosis (antibody detection for p58, DbpA, OspC + more). The latter two kits may replace more elaborate blots and are an alternative to quantitative ELISA tests. With SERION Multianalyt® DTPt simultaneous detection of Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis toxin IgG antibodies is possible for vaccination control.
